KTMU DORMITORY CONVERSATIONS: Assoc. Prf. Dr. Nail KARAGÖZ
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nail Karagözn was the guest of the "Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Dormitory Conversations series" program on Tuesday evening on March, 15 2022. Making a presentation titled "Belief in Allah in Islamic Thought", Karagöz first touched upon the difference between Islam and the ideas that scholars pointed on the sources of Islam. Emphasizing that the owner of the first thought is Allah and the second is human-made, he said that no human-made thought can replace religion. Karagöz reminded that throughout history, people had the idea of a god, and this concept was filled with divine and human resources. Stating that Allah introduced himself to us with the concepts he chose, Karagöz said that our scholars conveyed these to us under the title of Allah's Attributes. Explaining that Allah's attributes tell us what He is and what He is not, Karagöz answered students' questions on different subjects. The conversation, which was observed with great interest, ended with good wishes to students.
