International Symposium on “Family and Values” was held by Faculty of Theology of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
The opening program of the Symposium, organized by the Faculty of Theology as part of the 25th Anniversary Events of KTMU, was held on October 7, 2021 at Kasım Tınıstanov Conference Hall in the Chingiz Aitmatov Campus. The opening program of the symposium was also broadcasted from MEDIAMANAS.
The hosts of the opening program were Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Asilbek Kulmırzayev. The program was attended by Representative of the Turkish Republic in Northern Cyprus in Bishkek, First Undersecretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Embassy Counselors, TIKA Bishkek Program Coordinator, Turkey Maarif Foundation Kyrgyzstan Representative, academics and students.
The Symposium was organized online and offline (hybrid).
Presidential Communications Director and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KTMU Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Altun sent a message to participntas of the symposium.
In the Symposium on "Family and Values", in which scientists from 8 countries will present 72 papers, the family institution will be discussed with its various dimensions in the context of the changes and transformations taking place in the world. Special attention will be drawn to the family and the values on which the family is based in face of new challenges. Problems, which family institution faces will be analysed from an academic point of view.
