Mehmet Akif Ersoy Commemorated at Manas University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
A meaningful event was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) on the occasion of the Acceptance of the National Anthem and Commemoration of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Day.
The commemoration program took place on March 14, 2026, at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Photo Gallery, located within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
During the event, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hasan Huseyin Ari, provided students with detailed information about Mehmet Akif Ersoy's life, intellectual world, literary personality, character, and the writing process of the National Anthem. In his speech, Prof. Ari emphasized that Mehmet Akif Ersoy was not only a great writer but also a powerful intellectual and one of the most important representatives of the national struggle spirit.
Within the scope of the program, students examined the works in the gallery and had the opportunity to learn important information about both Mehmet Akif Ersoy's life and the emergence of the National Anthem.
