KTMU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Support Stray Animals «Spaying, Neutering, and Rehabilitation of Cats and Dogs»


The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, with the support of the Sustainable Development Commission, carried out the sterilization, treatment, and rehabilitation of 160 stray cats and 15 dogs. The main objective of the project was to improve the health and living conditions of stray animals and to help prevent uncontrolled population growth.

Through the project, the health status of many stray animals was improved, while sterilization efforts contributed to population control. The initiative also helped raise public awareness about animal welfare and responsible care for animals.
