New Scientific Collaboration in Vaccine Research
Associate Professor Dr. Asel Sartbaeva, who was awarded by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov this year for her scientific research, and Associate Professor Dr. Saltanat Moldoseyitova, National Professional Officer at the World Health Organization Country Office in Kyrgyzstan, visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University on September 17, 2026.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged information on the importance, safety, efficacy, and stability of vaccines used in animals. Particular attention was given to the development of a joint scientific project on vaccination in sheep. The participants also agreed to conduct similar studies on other animal species in the future.
Associate Professor Dr. Asel Sartbaeva and Associate Professor Dr. Saltanat Moldoseyitova noted that the Faculty has a well-developed clinical and laboratory infrastructure and expressed their willingness to participate in joint scientific research.
Prof. Dr. Ismail SEN, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, stated that the Faculty would be pleased to participate in scientific projects contributing to the development of livestock farming in Kyrgyzstan and worldwide. He also emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the fields of animal health, vaccine research, and preventive veterinary medicine.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University continues to prioritize international scientific research and collaboration.
