Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Supports Stray Animals
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University continues its social responsibility activities aimed at protecting animal health and improving the living conditions of stray animals.
For nearly four years, the Faculty has been cooperating with volunteer animal welfare associations and organizations. As part of these efforts, an average of 600 cats and dogs receive sterilization and veterinary treatment each year. The Faculty also supports efforts to find new homes for animals after their treatment is completed.
As part of these activities, a meeting was held at the Faculty on September 23, 2026, during which it was decided to launch a new cooperation with the Dostluk Public Social Assistance Foundation, which operates in Bishkek. The cooperation will focus on joint activities for the sterilization, treatment, and adoption of stray animals.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University will continue its social responsibility projects in the coming period, contributing to animal health and welfare.
