Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, continuing a long-standing tradition, broke his fast on the first day of Ramadan together with students following the recitation of the prayer.
Emphasizing that the spirit of sharing, brotherhood, and solidarity that defines Ramadan is deeply felt at Manas, Prof. Dr. Ceylan noted that observing the first iftar of the holy month together with students each year holds a unique and special significance for them.
Following the iftar program, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan met with students at the Oba Tea Garden located on campus, engaging in warm and sincere conversations over tea.
Throughout the month of Ramadan, free iftar meals will continue to be provided to all students through the generous contributions of members of the Manas family, philanthropic businesspeople, and representatives of various institutions.
