The spirit of generosity and sharing that defines the holy month of Ramadan continues to be felt across the campus of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. On the occasion of Ramadan, one of the most meaningful symbols of unity, togetherness, and solidarity, a significant social responsibility initiative was organized at the university.
Within the scope of the program held at the Chyngyz Aytmatov Campus, Ramadan food aid packages were distributed to the cleaning, landscaping, and tea service staff working at Manas University.
The distribution of the food packages was attended by the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, and the Secretary-General Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil.
Emphasizing that Ramadan is a month of sharing, cooperation, and solidarity, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated: “Ramadan gains its true meaning not only through fasting but also through bringing hearts together, sharing, and strengthening solidarity. Every member of our university is a valuable part of this great family. Today, we are very pleased to come together with our colleagues whose efforts contribute to making our campus a better place. I wish that the holy month of Ramadan brings health, peace, and abundance to all our staff.”
The staff members who benefited from the Ramadan food aid packages expressed their gratitude to the Manas University's administration for this meaningful support. They stated that the solidarity and sharing demonstrated by the university administration, which continues to remember them during Ramadan every year, made them very happy and conveyed their appreciation for the assistance provided.
Following the distribution of the food packages, a collective prayer was offered, expressing the hope that the charity and acts of solidarity carried out would be accepted by Allah.
