Academic Board Meetings for the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year have begun at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU). The meetings organized to evaluate the university’s academic activities, review educational processes, and discuss strategic goals for the upcoming period, are being held in the faculties with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan.
The academic board meetings, conducted at the faculty, bring together faculty administrations, department heads, academic and administrative unit managers, and faculty members. During the meetings, faculties educational activities, scientific research and publication performance, ongoing national and international projects, academic collaborations, and community engagement initiatives are comprehensively evaluated. In addition, proposals aimed at further strengthening the faculties existing academic capacity are discussed, and plans for the upcoming period are developed.
Presentations on the academic performance of the faculties are delivered during the meetings. Key topics on the agenda also include updating educational programs, increasing research capacity, strengthening international collaborations, and implementing initiatives to support students academic development.
Within this framework, academic board meetings were held at the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering on 9 March 2026, and at the Faculty of Communication and the Faculty of Humanities on 10 March 2026.
The academic board meetings, which will continue throughout the week, are expected to contribute to the more effective implementation of the university’s activities in the fields of education, research, and community engagement, as well as to strengthen academic coordination among the faculties.
