TS EN ISO 9001:2015 2nd Surveillance Audit Successfully Held at KTMU

In cooperation with the Turkish Standards Institution Certification Center Presidency, the “TS EN ISO 9001:2015” 2nd Surveillance Audit and Quality Management System implementation conducted at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University was successfully completed.

Contribution to Institutional Quality Processes Through Risk Management Training

The certified training program was conducted by Semra Şenel, Lead Auditor and trainer of the Quality Management Systems of the Turkish Standards Institution. Within the training, the “Risk Management” session focused on the risk-based thinking approach within the framework of the quality management system. In this context, theoretical information was provided on risk identification processes, risk assessment criteria, risk control mechanisms, and risk management strategies.

Following the theoretical presentations, participants had the opportunity to practice risk management methodology through working groups. The training sessions, conducted through interactive discussions and question-answer methods, involved evaluations of possible risk scenarios and the development of solution-oriented approaches. Şenel also addressed process management, emphasizing that proper planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement of processes are of great importance for the effectiveness of the quality management system.

Rector Ceylan: Quality-Oriented Management is the Key to Institutional Success

At the closing meeting, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that “Quality-Oriented Management is the Key to Institutional Success,” stating that sustainable success in universities is achieved not only through academic productivity but also through strong institutional governance, systematic process management, and a quality-oriented structure. Prof. Dr. Ceylan stressed that Manas University operates with an approach based on international quality standards in its education, research, and administrative processes, and noted that the surveillance audit provided significant contributions to institutional development through training programs.

2nd Surveillance Audit Successfully Completed

Semra Şenel, Lead Auditor and trainer of the Quality Management Systems of the Turkish Standards Institution, stated that the audit process was successfully completed and that no nonconformities were identified within the scope of the 2nd Surveillance Audit. Şenel commended Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University for its commitment to quality standards and institutional determination, congratulating the university administration and all contributing units.

Prof. Dr. Kadir Ardıç, Chair of the Quality Executive Board, thanked the members of the quality representation team and quality ambassadors who contributed significantly to the successful implementation of quality processes.
