International Turkic World Congress on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Sets Shared Vision for the Future of AI

The “1st International Turkic World Congress on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation” hosted by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, was successfully concluded as a high-level international platform where scientific production, technological vision, and academic collaboration intersected. Bringing together scholars, researchers, and young scientists from different countries, the congress created a multidisciplinary environment in which artificial intelligence and digital transformation were discussed not only as technological tools, but also as transformative forces reshaping humanity, education, security, ethics, and future perspectives.

Throughout the two-day program, sessions and workshops explored current scientific developments from a broad academic perspective. AI was examined in relation to ethics, social impact, cybersecurity, machine learning, data analytics, reinforcement learning, and optimization, highlighting its expanding influence across both technical and societal domains. In discussions on AI ethics and society, participants addressed issues such as the ethical use of generative AI in research, academic integrity in AI-assisted work, and responsible use of AI in professional environments. Comparative studies on large language models were also presented, focusing on their accuracy and hallucination tendencies when responding to factual questions related to the Turkic world.

Cybersecurity sessions drew attention to multilingual phishing detection, SCADA system security in smart city infrastructures, AI-powered cybersecurity awareness training models, early warning systems against cyber fraud, and risks associated with AI-generated IoT code. These presentations emphasized the growing importance of integrating artificial intelligence into modern security frameworks.

In machine learning and data analytics sessions, researchers shared studies on big data forecasting methods, intrusion detection systems, clinical large language model security frameworks, and innovative AI-based approaches in healthcare, including psychological state analysis, risk assessment systems, and intelligent interpretation of laboratory data. Reinforcement learning and optimization sessions further explored autonomous control systems and smart charging solutions for long-distance electric vehicle travel, underlining AI’s role in sustainability and energy efficiency.

Workshops for undergraduate students provided hands-on experience, allowing participants to engage directly with data analysis, generative AI tools, digital security applications, and automation systems. These sessions encouraged students to approach technology not only as users but also as developers and innovators, while also enabling direct interaction with international experts.

In the closing sessions, participants emphasized that the congress successfully strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration by bringing together researchers from diverse regions on a shared academic platform. It was noted that artificial intelligence has evolved beyond a purely technical field, now influencing decision-making systems, education, security policies, and broader societal transformation. It was further highlighted that the congress contributed significantly to the development of a shared scientific language and research culture within the Turkic world. The event was regarded as an important academic milestone that deepened understanding of rapid developments in AI and opened new research pathways for emerging scholars.
