First Aid Practices

As part of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a seminar titled “First Aid Practices” was organized for women on April 14, 2026 under the coordination of KTMU Faculty of Theology staff member Jamila Joraeva. During the seminar, Ayday Kubanychbekova informed participants about conscious interventions carried out in cases of accidents or sudden health problems until professional medical teams arrive. It was emphasized that the main objectives in such situations are to save lives, prevent the condition from worsening, and support recovery. The importance of remaining calm, applying correct techniques, and ensuring the safety of the scene was highlighted, while incorrect interventions may cause further harm. Applications such as basic life support, bleeding control, and stabilization of the injured area were explained as essential elements of first aid. It was also emphasized that first aid knowledge is indispensable for individuals to respond effectively in emergencies and for the protection of public health.
Approximately 300 students attended the seminar and followed it with great interest. Refreshments were served to the participants at the end of the program.
