I. Eurasia I. Kazan-Mangal competition
Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University (KTMU) Tourism and Hotel Management School Students, he added another one to its success.
The students of School of Tourism and Hotel Management Aynura Mamadaliyeva, Eyyup Kartal, Tanşoola Akıl and daughter of Eurasian “Kazan-Mangal yarış, organized for the first time in Bishkek on May 4-5, 2017. The team formed by Akılay Aşırbayeva won a bronze medal in the meat and fish category.
A total of 50 people, including professional cooks from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and young cook candidates, participated in the competition.
The jury was chaired by WACS President Tomas Gugler, who came to Kyrgyzstan with a special invitation. The jury was composed of the Presidents of the Cooks Union of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
KTMÜ Director of School of Tourism and Hotel Management Assoc. Dr. Barış Erdem said that the gastronomic culture and the related artistic activities are becoming more widespread all over the world. Assoc. Dr. Barış Erdem expressed that it is gratifying to receive various awards each time by representing KTMÜ in such activities. Assoc. Dr. Erdem stated that they will strive to continue this success in the international arena in the future.
