THE ART OF EATING MUTTON HEADS


On April 21, 2022, Sapargul Turdubekova, Sr.Lc. of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, conducted an open lesson called "The Art of Eating Mutton Head" as part of the course titled "Kyrgyz and Turkish Cuisine" which featured an applied approach. Madin Itikeyev, the winner of the "Be Kyrgyz" project competition, was invited to the lecture to share his knowledge of the culture of eating sheep's head and the process of cutting. The seminar was highly engaging, and students asked interesting questions. Madin Itikeyev was recognized for his efforts in introducing Kyrgyz cuisine to the younger generation and was awarded a "Certificate of Appreciation" by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism.
