Bachelor's Degree
General Information
Students that are candidates for the Bachelor's degree must show that they have the required skills and knowledge to meet international standards and the needs of the labor market.
Expectations of Students:
- Have thorough knowledge of the human body;
- Be able to conduct a physical examination of athletes;
- Be able to use computer technology relevant to the field;
- Fluently speak Turkish;
- Understand the biomechanics and kinetics of movement;
- Understand the body's energy system;
- Have a basic understanding of English;
- Be able to clearly explain movements and exercises;
- Understand modern sports terminology;
- Understand the basics of diet and healthy eating;
- Know the basics of rules and measurements in sports;
- Understand the factors that influence successful athletic children;
- Be able to work as a physical education teacher;
- Understand research and other scientific methods;
- Know the divisions, history, and traditions of sports as a whole;
- Be able to take on leadership positions;
- Be able to organize competitions;
- Understand the psychology of sports;
- Have a basic understanding of statistics;
- Understand athletic physiques and the genetics behind them;
- Understand the basics of refereeing;
- Understand the biochemical changes that happen in an athlete during training and competition;
- Know the physiological features of athletes.
