Graduates of the Department of Chemical Engineering have sufficiently wide yet specialized knowledge that allows them to work at large, medium, and small enterprises in a variety of fields. They are trained to design chemical and industrial processes and can successfully operate modern chemical equipment. They posses knowledge that allows them to solve complex technological problems in chemical production.
The graduates of the Department successfully work in chemical and mining companies. They work in private and public organizations, such as Kumtor Gold Company, Ak-Tiuz Gold Company, Coca-Cola Bishkek, Bonetsky Laboratory, the Ministry of Health, as well as cement and paint factories, and in educational establishments.
The Department has an active internship program, where students spend summer by working with a company and learning about what they do. In some cases, students can find work after graduation in these companies. Students have completed internships with companies such as National Paints, International Molybdenum and Tungsten Enterprise, Kyrgyz Petroleum Company, and Chui Glass.
