Within the framework of the social responsibility project, "Young Coders: Algorithm Training for Middle School Students" project was completed
The "Young Coders: Algorithm Training for Middle School Students" social responsibility project, led by Dr. Mehmet Karadeniz, a lecturer from our university's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, has been successfully completed.
As part of the project, middle school students were taught algorithm development, programming, and the principles of basic computer science. This training, which aimed to impart coding skills for the future, allowed young participants to take their first steps into the world of software and technology.
Project Objectives
Fundamentals of Algorithm and Programming: Teach students the basics of algorithm logic and programming.
Foster Creativity: Develop students' creative thinking and problem-solving skills through coding.
Technology Awareness: Raise awareness among young people about using technology efficiently.
Project Process:
The activities conducted as part of the project allowed young students to develop both theoretical and practical skills. In the training sessions given by expert instructors, the fundamentals of algorithm and programming were explained. Students had the opportunity to apply what they learned through projects and coding exercises. The instructors and assistants guided the students through their projects, providing one-on-one support.
Lecturer Dr. Mehmet Karadeniz thanked the students for their interest in the project, saying, "The young generation's interest and enthusiasm for technology give us great hope. I believe this project will contribute to the training of successful software developers of the future."
As a university, we will continue to contribute to the training of young people as competent individuals in the field of technology.
