THE TRANSLATION OF THE SMALL EPIC ER TÖSHTÜK
Er Toshtuk is one of the minor Kyrgyz epics that has been translated into English by Associate Professor of the Simultaneous Translation Department of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Mambaeva Saltanat. It was published in December 2021 and edited by professor from Scotland Laura Hamilton. Translation was based on the version collected by R. Sarypbekov and M. Mukasov that was published by the Kyrgyz Academy of Sciences in 2015. The English version was performed in poetic fo rm and was highly appreciated by the English-speaking editors and audience.
