Research at the university is carried out at the Institute of Social Sciences and the Center for Turkic Civilization, where graduate students can work on their dissertations in the field of Turkology and Turkic civilization. These two institutions are closely related with the field of Turkology. Along with dissertations and research work carried out at the Institute of Social Science, student can also carry out research in the broader world, based on contacts with similar institutions in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and in other countries.
