Our department of biology offers B.Sc. degree program. The program was opened in 2007 and this year our department started accepting undergraduate students. At present, 114 students are studying in the Biology department, of which 26 are in the preparatory group.
Research opportunities exist in a variety of areas including zoology, botany, cytology, histology, anatomy, human and animal physiology, genetics and genetic engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology and biotechnology, immunology and endocrinology and environmental protection. Our faculty contributes to B.Sc. education in order to provide students with an education that meets the needs of the future.
The curriculum for the B.Sc. program was established in accordance with the State Education Standard for Higher Education and based on covering the aspects of basic life sciences and laboratory practices in order to help students for addressing their career plans and research interests. Before graduation, students have to complete their laboratory works, internships, summer practices, and thesis defenses, and final state certifications.
