The Department of Biology conducts research focusing on life sciences and offering a well-designed education and practical training in life sciences.
The Department of Biology at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University offers both undergraduate (BSc) and graduate (MSc & PhD) programs. A variety of courses are offered at both levels by the Department of Biology. Faculty members cover broad areas of zoology, botany, cytology, histology, anatomy, human and animal physiology, physiology of the complex neural system, genetics and genetic engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology and biotechnology, immunology and endocrinology and environmental protection. Our department is well equipped with research facilities to carry out research and research opportunities exist in a variety of areas mentioned above.
The goal of departmental programs at both undergraduate (BSc) and graduate (MSc & PhD) levels is to raise students as well-educated, creative researchers who are ready to work individually or as a team.
