Student Competition Promoting National Values Attracted Great Interest
Within the framework of the “National Spirit – World Summits” initiative approved by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, systematic efforts are being carried out in higher education institutions to promote national values, preserve cultural heritage, and educate the younger generation accordingly.
In this context, a meaningful and comprehensive student competition was organized at our university. The main goal of the event was to introduce students to the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and spiritual values of the Kyrgyz people, as well as to strengthen their national awareness and cultural identity.
The competition consisted of five stages, each reflecting national values from different perspectives. In the “Greeting” stage, teams creatively introduced themselves. In the “Tradition” stage, participants presented Kyrgyz customs and traditions. The “History” stage tested participants’ knowledge of the country’s past. In the “Kyrgyz Cuisine” stage, traditional dishes were showcased, highlighting cultural richness. Finally, in the “Song/Dance” stage, students demonstrated their artistic talents, adding vibrant energy to the event.
The competition, held with great enthusiasm and participation, allowed students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and teamwork skills. At the end of the event, the winning teams were awarded prizes, and all participants were congratulated.
It was emphasized that such activities contribute significantly to both the academic and cultural development of young people, and our university will continue to organize similar events aimed at preserving and promoting national values.
