Lecturer at Johannes Gutenberg University Prof. Dr. Rysbek Alimov gave a seminar at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

The seminar on "The Place of Kyrgyz in Turkish-Mongolian Language Relations" was held on March 27, 2023 in cooperation with the Eurasian Research Institute of History, Language and Archeology and the Department of Turkology.

At the beginning of the seminar, Eurasian Research Institute of History, Language and Archeology Vice Chairman Prof. Dr. Anıl Yılmaz said that Rysbek Alimov is a scientist who is known worldwide in his field and has made significant contributions to science with his studies. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz thanked Prof. Dr. Alimov for coming to Manas University and sharing the findings of one of his important researches with the students and contributing to their intellectual development.

Prof. Dr. Rysbek Alimov, in his seminar for academics and students, gave important information on topics such as the kinship status of Turkish-Mongolian languages, the problem of Turkish-Mongolian linguistic parallelism and solutions, the results of Turkish-Mongolian language contacts, the historical layers of Turkish-Mongolian contacts, the historical layers of Mongolian quotations in Turkish languages. Also he gave important information on prominent Turkish languages in terms of Turkish-Mongolian language relations.

Prof. Dr. Rysbek Alimov's seminar was followed with interest by academics and students.
