On June 16, 2023, the 20th Year Alumni Meeting was held at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. This event was organized by the President of KTMU Alumni and Members Association Dr. Serhat Atmaca. The alumni meeting was held at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University`s Social Facilities Building.

Many Manas University graduates 20 years ago attended the alumni meeting. The event, which was held last year with 2002 graduates, continued this year too.

During the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated that every graduate is important for Manas University. He will continue the tradition of meeting with graduates every year. Rector also said: “Every university must have its own traditions." We would like to take into account the opinions and suggestions of our dear graduates before making decisions. We are in constant communication with our graduates and follow what they are doing. Manas University is among the “top 1000 universities in the world”. We aim to be among the top 500 in the world. As you know, there is no university that gives free education except Manas University. Manas University provides free meals to 400 students. Free breakfast is provided for all students in the morning. We also help the cancer center. We also helped earthquake victims in Turkey. Manas University has become not only an educational institution, but also a supportive institution.”

Within the event, certificates were presented to the graduates on their 20th anniversary. Together with our graduates, our campus and the faculties of our university were visited. During the visit, the graduates also attended the graduation ceremony for the academic year 2022-2023.
