"Virtual Reality Lab" Was Opened by Support KTMU
The "Biruni VR-LAB" Project was realized with the National Education Directorate of Nurdagy District and Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
The lab opening was attended by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Director of National Education Musa Yıldırım, and Dean of Gaziantep University's Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Erdal Bai. According to KTMU Rector Alpaslan Ceylan, who participated via online connection, the project, which begins a long-term cooperation with Nurdagy, can be beneficial to students. Additionally, Manas University will cover the transportation and accommodation costs of Nurdagy students. Director of National Education Musa Yıldırım also thanked Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and Gaziantep University for their contribution to the laboratory preparation and equipping.
At the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said, "In line with the digital mobilization announced by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we have implemented our Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University`s Biruni VR-LAB project, which is a first in Central Asia. We hope that our VR-LAB project, which is an important step in our efforts to digitalize our university, will benefit us."
During an age when changes and transformations are experienced intensely, Prof. Dr. Erdal Bai emphasized that education systems should transform. He also mentioned that these laboratories would increase education quality.
