Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and International Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Kyrgyzstan.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan thanked Ambassador Latif Seyfaddin Oglu Gandilov for participating in every program invited by our university. Rector Alpaslan Ceylan said, “In addition to being a quality university that provides free education in Kyrgyzstan, we are one of the top 800 universities in the QS World University Rankings. Our university slogan is “More Than Just a University..." Therefore, we want to be more than just a university established jointly by Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Turkey. Our goal is to increase our recognition and internationalization. We hope to continue our relationship with Azerbaijan with more projects." Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan also stated that he would be pleased to host world-renowned Azerbaijani academicians at our university.

The ambassador praised the quality and free education offered by Manas University. In addition, he stated that Manas University teaches young people to be responsible individuals following Turkish traditions. Ambassador emphasized, “We are grateful to you. In the Turkic Republic, Manas graduates will play an important role in future interstate studies and relations. This is Turkey's greatest contribution to the Turkic Republic.”

Ambassador emphasized that Bishkek-Baku flights will start soon, which will not only improve Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan relations but also improve relationships between Manas University and Azerbaijan's higher education institutions. In a friendly and sincere atmosphere, gifts were presented at the end of the visit.
