SEMİNAR ON “SOME DİSEASES THAT CAN BE TRANSMİTTED FROM ANİMALS TO HUMANS AND WAYS OF PREVENTİON” WAS HELD AT MANAS UNİVERSİTY
On November 22, 2023, Manas University's Continuing Education Center organized a seminar on “Some diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans and ways of preventing them.” Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Turk, academicians, administrative staff, and students attended the seminar, which was presented by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil.
Manas University's Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Turk emphasized that the seminar aimed to raise awareness about infectious diseases and ways to prevent them. The Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil provided information about diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans, such as brucellosis and its species, the Ebola virus, rabies, and the precautions and treatment processes to protect against these diseases.
The seminar, featuring active participation and a question-and-answer session, played an important role in enhancing awareness in the fields of health and veterinary medicine.
