Manas University`s Student Aijan Anarbekova Received a Medal from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic
Aijan Anarbekova, a first-year student in the Master's program for Physical Education at the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and a World Champion in Belt Wrestling, has been honored with a medal by the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic (Jogorku Kenesh) for her significant contributions to Kyrgyz sports.
Experiencing emotional moments during the medal presentation for the 85th anniversary of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aijan Anarbekova expressed her gratitude, attributing her success to her coach, Zhenish Toktonazarov. She stated, “It is truly an honor to receive this award, following the gold medal I won in classical wrestling at the 2023 Asian Championship in Uzbekistan.”
In her speech, Aijan Anarbekova, who actively participates in seven different sports on the international stage, mentioned her preparations for the 5th World Nomad Games scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan this year, focusing on belt wrestling.
