2024 Artificial Intelligence Workshop: Guiding the Future of Technology Leaders
On April 29, 2024, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University hosted the 2024 Artificial Intelligence Workshop program at the Rectorate Conference Hall under the coordination of KTMU Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electric and Electronics Engineering and Vice Dean, Assist. Prof. Dr. Erhan Sezgin and with the contributions of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of Türkiye.
The first day of the 3-day program, which included awareness and theoretical training on Artificial Intelligence as well as application development training, was met with great interest from students.
Rector of Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurzat Totubaeva; Head of Electric and Electronics Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Ozgul Salor-Durna; Digital Youth - Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Project Manager Dr. Ramazan Terzi; Artificial Intelligence Experts, Dr. Metehan Güzel and Dr. Yasin İnag, faculty members and students attended the program.
Manas University's Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, who made the opening speech of the program, emphasized the importance of the workshop held with the aim of raising a well-equipped and conscious youth required by the technological age with the statement “The world is now living the age of a digital youth.”
Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan expressed his gratitude for this valuable workshop held at Manas University and said, “I would like to thank everyone, especially the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Digital Transformation Office.”
Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized the importance of the technological age and said, “Everyone must keep up with the technological age. Those who resist this will be erased from the stage of history.”
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurzat Totubaeva thanked everyone who contributed to the event and invited students to participate in the 3-day training program.
In the program, the work and goals of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye were shared with students and faculty members. In addition, topics such as Digital Awareness Projects and Productive Artificial Intelligence were also discussed within the scope of the program.
The trainings will continue for 3 days by the Department of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Applications of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and KTMU Artificial Intelligence Experts.
The Artificial Intelligence Workshop will contribute to raising the technology leaders of the future by offering students an important opportunity in today's rapidly developing technology.
