Seminar on Jewelry Art Was Held at Manas University

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Faculty of Fine Arts hosted an event in the realm of jewelry. Held on May 7, 2024, the “Jewelry Art” seminar and workshop brought together jewelry and art enthusiasts.

The speaker of the seminar was a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic and well-known jeweler Jakshylyk Chyntemirov. During the seminar, interesting information about Chyntemirov's life, creativity, studio, and his works exhibited in the Gapar Aitiev Art Museum in Bishkek were shared through video screenings.

With more than 30 years of experience in jewelry making and his works popular in many countries such as the USA, Türkiye, Germany, and Japan, jeweler Jakshylyk  Chyntemirov introduced Kyrgyz jewelry art, which has a history of thousands of years, and emphasized important details that should be considered while working on jewelry.

In the seminar, Jakshylyk Chyntemirov's presentation raised awareness among the students about the art of jewelry, and he thanked the organizers of the event. The presentation was followed with interest by the participants.
