Manas University’s Academic in the World's Most Influential Scientists List
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, recognized for its pioneering contributions to the scientific community, has achieved another important milestone on the international stage. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kobya, a lecturer in the Environmental Engineering Department at Manas University, has been included in the list of the “World's Most Influential Scientists,” compiled in collaboration with Stanford University and the Netherlands-based scientific publishing company Elsevier.
Evaluation Based on International Criteria
This prestigious list, published in the Elsevier Database, highlights the high-quality academic contributions of scientists throughout their careers. Published annually, it evaluates researchers in two categories: “Career-Long Impact” and “Annual Impact.” The ranking considers the most cited scientists across 22 main disciplines and 174 sub-disciplines, reflecting their cumulative work. As a result of these evaluations, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kobya is among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.
