Manas University’s Graduate Saule Mukanbetova Wins First Prize in the Short Film Category
Students from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University’s Faculty of Communication achieved remarkable success at the “10th TRT Future Communicators Competition” organized by TRT.
Students from the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department Nazgul Omurzhanova and Nestan Muhambetkalıeva, reached the finals in the short film and animation categories. Meanwhile, Saule Mukanbetova won first place in the competition with her short film “Hope.”
This prestigious event attracted 2,618 students from 130 universities, resulting in a total of 1,702 submissions. The achievements of the Manas University students were guided by Radio, Television, and Cinema Department Inst. Nargiza Mamatkulova and Academic Specialist Fahri Tarhan.
The award ceremony, held under the theme “TRT in its 60th Year,” in the Communication Campaign category, was attended by prominent figures such as the Presidency’s Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Deputy Director of Communications Evren Başar, TRT General Manager Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı, along with TRT executives and leading professionals from the industry.
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University continues to be a source of pride with its exceptional performance and accolades in Türkiye's most prestigious communication competitions.
