Our Students Have Achieved Great Success
In the “Best Teacher of the Year 2024” competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, students from the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University’s Department of History achieved remarkable success.
Held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the Kyrgyz education system, the competition aimed to recognize talented and creative teachers who have embraced pedagogical innovations, as well as modern educational technologies and methods. A total of 128 teachers and 28 educators from across the country, representing seven regions, competed for the title of the “Best Teacher” in 17 different categories.
Aldiyar Ashyrbekov, a master's degree graduate of the History Department, and Kurmanbek Haidarov, a current master’s student, participated in the competition and achieved significant success.
Aldiyar Ashyrbekov secured first place in the previous regional and city stages of the competition, qualifying for the republican stage. As the Deputy Director of School No. 97 in Bishkek, he excelled in the final stage, achieving the highest results. In recognition of his accomplishments, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic awarded him the badges “Excellence in Education” and “Best Teacher of the Year,” along with a “Certificate of Honor.” Additionally, Ashyrbekov received a trip to Dubai and a cash prize of 100,000 soms from the Mayor of Bishkek.
Another successful participant in the competition was Kurmanbek Haidarov, a master’s student from the Department of History at Manas University and a history teacher at School No. 94 in Bishkek. Haidarov claimed first place in the local competition held in the Sverdlov district and third place in the city stage, earning the title of “Best History Teacher of the Year.” For his achievements, he was awarded a computer and 60,000 soms.
