Manas University`s Graduate Won the Best Film Award at the 9th Turkic World Documentary Film Festival
Altynai Adamaliyeva, who graduated from Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, was awarded the best film award in student category for her directed documentary film called “Kaya” at the 9th Turkic World Documentary Film Festival.
The gala and award ceremony, hosted by TURKSOY, were held in Ankara from October 15 to 17, 2024.
A total of 300 films from 12 countries competed at the festival. Among the 36 films that made it to the finals, Altinay Adamaliyeva's documentary “Kaya” was chosen as the best documentary film by the jury, achieving significant success.
Films that won awards and made it to the finals as part of festival will be streamed to the audiences in many countries including Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Hungary, North Macedonia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
