“Language and Art” Meeting at KTMU: An Event that Preserves Cultural Heritage
An event titled “Language and Art” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the acceptance of the Kyrgyz Republic State Language Law and the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kırgız Autonomous Region was held by the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University on November 13, 2024.
Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Kürşad Gülbeyaz, academics and numerous students attended the program.
In the opening speech of the program, Prof. Dr. Kürşad Gülbeyaz, pointed out the historical significance of Kara-Kırgız Autonomous Region, “Kara-Kırgız Autonomous Region may have been on the historical stage for a short time but this is an evidence of the existence of Kyrgyz Republic,” he stated.
During the program, the students enchanted the attendees with their songs and dance performances.
The program concluded with a group photo.
The event became a memorable day when language and art came together to highlight cultural heritage.
