The End-of-Year Evaluation and Closing Ceremony of the Children’s University Summer School, organized by the Continuing Education Center of Kyrgyz-Turkiye Manas University, was held at the Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall. The event featured a review of the center’s educational activities throughout the year, while also sharing the excitement of students who successfully completed the summer school program. The ceremony was attended by Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, Head of the Continuing Education Center Prof. Dr. Yücel Öksüz, faculty members, and students’ families.
Raising Future Intellectuals with a Sense of Brotherhood
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that children are at the center of Manas University’s family-oriented approach, stating: “Our children are the most valuable treasure of our future. We must approach them with love and embrace them with compassion so that they, in turn, may embrace the future of the Turkish nation and the Turkic world with the same awareness and sense of responsibility. The most important values we can instill in our children are morality, a sense of national and spiritual responsibility, and the ideal of unity and solidarity of the Turkic World.”
He further noted that the summer school is not only an educational program but also an important platform contributing to the transmission of shared cultural values to new generations. “It is of great importance that the future intellectuals of the Turkic world are raised with a sense of brotherhood, solidarity, and shared cultural awareness. With this responsibility in mind, through our Summer School program, we aim for our children to learn while having fun and to build strong bonds around common history, culture, and values,” he added.
End-of-Year Evaluation by the Continuing Education Center
Speaking at the program, Head of the Continuing Education Center Prof. Dr. Yücel Öksüz provided information on the activities carried out during the 2025–2026 academic year. Prof. Dr. Öksüz stated that various courses, seminars, social activities, and training programs were successfully completed throughout the year, noting that a total of 1,138 participants attended these courses. He also emphasized that the center continues its work with an educational approach tailored to all ages and goals.
A Joyful Finale at the Children’s University Summer School
Within the scope of the program, performances prepared by the students of the Children’s University Summer School were met with great appreciation. The children who took the stage showcased their talents through dance performances, musical activities, and various presentations, creating enjoyable moments for the audience. Their excitement, energy, and confidence received prolonged applause from families and guests in the hall.
The Children’s University Summer School, which hosted 37 students consisting of the children of university staff members, enabled children to become familiar with university life. Through a program enriched with educational, cultural, artistic, and social activities, the students gained new knowledge and experiences while also having the opportunity to explore different learning environments.
