They are people who follow the first scholars in matters related to the principles of faith and are content with the apparent meaning of the verses and hadiths. These are the Ahl as-Sunnah community who do not interpret the verses and hadiths related to faith.
The most distinctive feature of the understanding of early Salafism is that it does not give a role to the mind in the field of belief, is content with only verses and hadiths, and does not comment on verses and hadiths that can be understood in various ways.
Later predecessor scholars revised their attitudes towards reason and included, at least slightly, reason in matters of faith.
