FALL SEMESTER SEMINARS OF THE 2021-2022 ACADEMIC YEAR OF THE FACULTY OF THEOLOGY OF THE KYRGYZ-TURKISH MANAS UNIVERSITY
The first seminar of the Faculty of Theology of KTMU for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year was conducted by Prof. PhD Recai Dogan in 20.10.2021.
Prof. PhD Recai Dogan, who is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Theology of KTMU, held a seminar entitled "How to write a thesis?" for senior students and faculty juniour researchers. He began his speech by drawing the attention of the audience to the importance of the thesis completed at the undergraduate level. Dogan emphasized that the research prospectus, which must be prepared by students in the fall semester, is their most important guide in the process of writing a thesis. In continuation of the seminar, the professor focused on the topic of punctuation and grammar when writing a thesis; advised to argue thoughts logically and give the available arguments, referring to the facts and use these facts only to strengthen the arguments. Recai Dogan also advised students not to overload their thesis with long explanations, unnecessary discussions and tables. Dogan emphasized that students should strictly format all citations according the university guidelines in the University Directive for writing of thesis. Prof. PhD Recai Dogan concluded his seminar by answering students' questions on the topic of the seminar.
