4th Seminar
KTMU Faculty of Theology continued 2021-2022 academic year fall semester seminar series with the fourth seminar. The seminar was given online by Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir DÜNDAR, Dean of Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Theology. The theme of the seminar was "Islam and Art." It was held on December 7, 2021 at 15.30.
The seminar on Islam and Art was attended by faculty members and students, master's and doctorate students, as well as students from another faculties of our university.
In the seminar, Dündar first gave information about the sources and development of Islamic art. In this context, he mentioned the effects of the practices of the Prophet on the development of Islamic art. Then, he explained the features of Islamic art such as concreteness, functionality and simplicity. Prof. Dr. Abdülkadir DÜNDAR completed his seminar by answering questions on the subject.
