IFTAR WAS GIVEN TO STUDENTS OF ISLAMIC INSTITUTE


Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and the management of the Faculty of Theology visited the Islamic Institute named after Hz. Osman.

During the visit to the Institute in Karabalta on April 13, 2022, iftar was given to the students of the institute. It is a part of the university's social responsibility activities. Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat, Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakıt Murzaraimov, Associate Professor of Islamic Sciences. Dr. Mehmet Demirci also took part in this activity.

Institute Director Halil Damla informed the visitors about the Institute.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan talked to students. Rector said the following: “The important thing in life is to be a good slave of Allah and a good person. This goes through science and morality. You are very lucky to have learned knowledge at the foot of such a teacher. I wish you all success. Good luck with your path.” 

Emphasizing the necessity of teaching religion and culture together, Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat, on the other hand, advised students to make good use of their youth years.

Alpaslan Ceylan presented two Qurans, a Turkish flag and the Kyrgyz Hadith Collection Set prepared by the Presidency of Religious Affairs to Halil Damla, the Director of the Islamic Institute. Halil Damla presented Ceylan kalpak and the two-volume book of "Hidayet", that he translated . During the visit, it was agreed that the cooperation and scientific activities of Manas University and the Institute should be increased and continued.
