Laylat al-Qadr (“Night of Power”) Panel (Special Program for Women)


The Religious Services Consultancy of the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek and the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Faculty of Theology organized the Special Program for Women named "Laylat al-Qadr (“Night of Power”) Panel" in 27/04/2022.
The Program took place at Satuk Buğra Han Implementation Mosque of Faculty of Theology. KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and T.R. Bishkek Embassy Religious Services Counselor Mürsel Öztürk took part at the program.
The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and continued with opening speeches.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, in his opening speech expressed the following: “I greet you with the most beautiful greetings,  with the greeting of Allah. Selamun aleykum! I wish today and every day to be as fruitful as in the Night of Power. I pray Allah that the Night of Power will be blessed for the Turkish World, the Islamic world and humanity, and that all your prayers will be accepted."
Religious Services Counselor Mürsel Öztürk said, “The Month of Ramadan is a month in which all worships are intense, except for the pilgrimage. Prayer is intense, namaz is intense, the Qur'an is intense, goodness and goodwill are intense... At least there is fitra. In other words, the month of Ramadan is actually a wonderful, perfect month in which all these worships are intense. Now we have come to the end of this month. Happy holidays in advance. I hope the Night of Power will be blessed for all of us." 
Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat said, “Tonight is the Night of Power. Let me say a few words as a prayer. I hope every night of yours is as blessed, holy and important as in the Night of Power. Let every day be a day where you live a thousand-year life. On the occasion of the Night of Power, I hope you will be one of those people who know the value and dignity of our spiritual values, religion, national values, homeland and flag." 
After the speeches, the panel started. KTMU Faculty of Letters History Department Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nezahat Ceylan moderated the panel. 
In the panel, Faculty of Theology Department of Islamic Sciences Lecturer Mirgül Bekmurzayeva made a presentation on "Ramadan and Prayer"; Cazgül Colaliyeva, Research Assistant of the Department of Religious Sciences made a presentation on “Ramadan and Education”; Satuk Buğra Han Implementation Mosque Preacher Ayşe Yüksek presented the theme “The Night of Power and Its Importance”; and Quran Course Instructor Halime Tatlı made a presentation on “Vahiy (Revelation) and Humanbeing”.
The program also included chorus singing of "ilahi" and prayers. At the of the program panelists were awarded the "Certificates of Participation."
