KTMU DORMITORY CONVERSATIONS: Cazgül COLALIYEVA
Research Assistant from the Faculty of Theology Cazgul COLALIYEVA became the guest in the KTMU Dormitory Conversations program on Tuesday evening in 14.06.2022 . Our assistant, who made a presentation titled "Child Education in Islam", first mentioned the importance given to children in Islam. Colaliyeva stated that children are desribed in the Qur'an and Sunnah in the following way: "Children are entrusted by Allah to adults," "Children are a test to parents," "Children are innocent," "Children are born according to nature," "Children are flowers of life." After that, information was given about what should be considered in child education in Islam, and which religious practices should be done especially for newborn children. In the speech, some religious practices practiced in the Kyrgyz families were mentioned. The conversation, which was observed by great interest, ended with good wishes and words of gratitude.
