"WELCOME TO OUR FACULTY PROGRAM"
An orientation program called “Welcome to Our Faculty” was organized for the Preparatory grade students of the Faculty of Theology. The program took place on October, 7 2022 in Imam Maturidi Amphitheater. Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT, academic and administrative staff participated at the program.
The program started with the recitation of the Qur'an. Afterwards, a promotional video including the opportunities, projects, all kinds of supports and the vision of the faculty was shown to the students. Dean of KTMU Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT in his speech thanked the students for choosing our faculty. He underlined that we are a student-centered university, and gave information about the Arabic, Quran and Basic Religious Studies courses to be held for the preparatory grade students. He he expressed a deep desire that students would take an active role in education and all kinds of activities of the faculty in university life, and would have all the qualifications that a university student should have, and wished them success in the path of science.
In the continuation of the program, the vice dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakıt MURZARAİMOV, Head of Islamic Sciences Department Prof.Dr. Bekir TATLI, and all the academic and administrative staff of our faculty, who participated in the program, introduced themselves. They stated that they would give all kinds of support at the academic level by asking students to receive higher quality education and to start life as higher quality personnel in the future. At the end of the program, the representatives of the preparatory grade students thanked the faculty dean, academic and administrative staff for their meaningful speeches and warm welcome. At the end of the program, a book was distributed to the students as a gift by the faculty dean, and tea and cake were offered.
