WORKSHOP AND ADVERTISING AGENCY

Within the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, and with the valuable support of the Rectorate, the Workshop and Advertising Agency was established during the 2023–2024 academic year.

This center has been designed as a platform where students can apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, develop creative projects, and establish direct connections with the industry. It also aims to utilize the academic expertise of the department to offer solutions to the communication needs of our university and surrounding institutions.

The activities to be carried out within the agency include: corporate identity design, social media management, promotional campaigns, event organization, public relations projects, creative content production, and other practice-based initiatives.

The Practical Workshop and Advertising Agency seeks to enhance our students' professional competencies, improve their teamwork skills, and support their transition into the professional world as well-equipped and competitive graduates.


Laboratory 2D and 3D Animation, C-204

Animation Laboratory of the Faculty of Communication, Kyrgyz-Turkish "Manas" University

The Faculty of Communication at Kyrgyz-Turkish "Manas" University is equipped with modern facilities: a TV studio, mobile film production equipment, and laboratories for photography, animation, graphics, and editing. These resources allow students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills and contribute to both creative and professional development.

Animation Laboratory of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations (Room C-204)

Established in 2005, the laboratory aims to teach students the processes of animation and 3D modeling. With 25 graphic workstations, the lab enables practical training in both 2D animation and 3D modeling.


1. Practice-Oriented Education

The lab allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, using modern technology to implement real-world projects. This is particularly important for animation, graphic design, video production, and the media industry.

2. Development of Creativity

The lab fosters creative thinking and the production of original content. Students learn to visually represent their ideas, which helps prepare competitive professionals in the field of visual communication.

3. Access to Modern Technology

Faculty and students have access to professional software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Blender, Toon Boom Harmony, and others.

4. Support for Scientific and Creative Projects

The lab supports a variety of scientific, cultural, and creative projects. Examples include creating short animated films, preparing media presentations, and participating in international festivals.

5. Professional Skills Development

The lab equips students with relevant and practical skills needed for careers in television and radio, film, education, and advertising.


Laboratory Equipment:

  • Graphic tablets and drawing laptops — for 2D animation and digital illustration
  • High-performance workstations — for 3D modeling and animation
  • Professional software: Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Blender, Toon Boom Harmony
  • Multimedia equipment — for video editing, sound recording, and lighting

These resources help students gain hands-on experience in creating animation projects and participating in international competitions.


Courses Offered:

  • Fundamentals of Animation — theory and practice of 2D and 3D animation
  • 3D Modeling — creating and animating 3D objects
  • Digital Illustration — graphic design and illustration
  • Motion Graphics, Video Editing, and Post-Production — animating graphics, editing videos, and applying effects
  • Scriptwriting and Storyboarding — developing scripts and visual plans for animation projects

These courses teach students the full production cycle of an animation project.

The knowledge and experience gained in the lab enable graduates to work in the following fields:

  • Film and Television — animated movies and TV programs
  • Advertising — creating animated commercials
  • Gaming Industry — animation and graphics for video games
  • Education — developing educational animation content

Students also have the opportunity to participate in national and international film festivals and competitions, showcasing their creative work.


Laboratory Schedule:

The laboratory operates five days a week, from Monday to Friday:

  • 08:55 – 17:30 (Lunch break: 12:00 – 13:30)
  • Open for both practical classes and independent work on projects and coursework

The lab schedule is organized according to the faculty’s academic plan and is updated each semester.

  • Tuesday: Motion Graphics – 08:55–11:50
  • Wednesday: 3D Modeling – 13:30–15:50
  • Thursday: Digital Illustration – 13:30–16:50
  • Friday: Video Editing and Post-Production – 09:00–10:50

The exact schedule is announced at the beginning of each semester and determined by instructors.
