Bachelor’s Degree Program
Our department educates highly-trained specialists in the field of Chemical Engineering. Our specialists are educated in accordance with national and international requirements, and are smart and innovative engineers who are competent, mobile, and capable of working independently on research or in industry.
The curriculum for the Bachelor's program was compiled based on leading European and Turkish universities' curriculum in the corresponding major and in accordance with the State Education Standard for Higher Education. Credits are counted according to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit system. Programs cover four years, or eight semesters.
The Bachelor's program covers three main parts: humanities and socio-economic disciplines; general mathematics and natural sciences; and professional training. Students also complete laboratory work, internships and summer practice, thesis defense, and a final state certification.
