March 18th Martyrs Commemoration and Çanakkale Victory Day
Dear Manas Family,
Çanakkale is one of the most important heroic epics of history, in which the Turkish nation showed its heroism, fondness for independence and love of the homeland to the whole world 108 years ago. Çanakkale is a great example of heroism and struggle, which is engraved in the memory of the Turkish nation, whose memory is always fresh, and which is still remembered with enthusiasm despite the years that have passed. Çanakkale is the victory where the Turkish nation demonstrated its determination to protect the homeland and live independently, proved that its will to exist cannot be destroyed, and lit the torch of the War of Independence. Today, our duty is to protect the legacy left to us by our ancestors, to keep the enthusiasm and determination of the spirit of Çanakkale alive, to protect the sacred homeland and to leave a prosperous country for future generations.
On the occasion of this meaningful day, we celebrate the anniversary of March 18 Martyrs' Remembrance and Çanakkale Victory Day, and we commemorate with gratitude and mercy all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives to ensure the indivisible integrity of the homeland, the peace and security of our nation, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, and Çanakkale martyrs who entrusted our beloved homeland to us.
