International Student Conference on "Digital Communication Transformation in a Changing World" was held at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

50 Successful Papers

The conference was held on March 16, 2023 as three sessions. There were also participants from Russia and Kazakhstan who participated online and presented their papers. Students from universities of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia presented 50 papers at the conference, which continued throughout the day.

Manas Educates Students in Accordance with the Digital Age

The opening speech at the conference began with the speech of Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Türk said: “We live in an era that is shaped by constantly changing and developing technology. Unfortunately, with each passing day, both the information, the use of technology and the competencies required from students are changing. Now everything has turned into digital and we have become digital citizens and digital students. This situation requires us to keep up with constant change. In other words, it makes it obligatory to act in accordance with the spirit of the time. Of course historical data, historical information is very important. But those who cannot keep up with the trends of the new era will not be in important positions in the future. That`s why we constantly discuss our students curricula, equipment and new developments. We constantly hold conferences and panels in our school and we will continue to do so. Whatever the time demands, whatever the spirit of the time requires, we will prepare our students accordingly. In this sense, Joogaz's Public Relations Festival makes a great contribution to raising awareness among the students of the Faculty of Communication.”

Many Awards from the "Lilium" Festival

The team "23/32 PM", formed by the students of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising of the Faculty of Communication of KTMU, participated in the Lilium Festival organized by Yusuf Balasagun Kyrgyz National University on March 15-17, 2023 and won first prizes in many categories..

Students from Manas won two first prizes, two second prizes and one third prize at the International Student Conference on Digital Communication Transformation in a Changing World. In the “Debate” category, the second year students of the Public Relations and Advertising Department won the first prize.

In the category “case analysis”, it was the third year students of the Department of Public Relations and Advertising who offered the best solutions to the cases given by the festival's partners Leasing Express and Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic. Also they were awarded 30 thousand soms by Leasing Express as the first prize.

Manas University Faculty of Communication students always return from various festivals and competitions they participate in with many awards.
