New Award to Poet Altynbek Ismailov
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University High School of Foreign Languages Lecturer, Translator, Poet Altynbek Ismailov was awarded the Alıkul Osmonov State Literature Award.
Altynbek Ismailov was deemed worthy of the award by the National Union of Writers of the Kyrgyz Republic, which organized the competition, for his book "White Night / Agysh Tun".
The award ceremony held at the Kasymaly Bayalinov Children and Youth Library was attended by the President of the National Writers Union of the Kyrgyz Republic N. Kalıbekov, members of the Union and leading figures of the literary community.
Ismailov was awarded the Sezai Karakoç Literature Award by the Writers Union of the Republic of Turkey and the State Award by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic last year.
