An employee recognition program was held on July 06, 2023, for academicians who will retire after making countless contributions to our University. Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Deputy Rector Dr. Baktygul Kalambekova, as well as many academic and administrative staff attended the program which was held at Kasym Tynystanov Hall.

At the opening of the program Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said: “Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is a big family, which is among the top 1000 universities in the world, which is constantly renewing itself and has great success especially in the last 3 years. This success is the success of our academic staff here, the success of the Manas family”. Also, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan thanked all staff for their contributions to the university.

Alpaslan Ceylan stressed that humanity is impossible without recognition. It is our fundamental duty to demonstrate our love and respect for our parents, teachers and friends. We must remember the favors and help they have done for us, and keep the values they have added to us alive at all times. We must show the same loyalty to our academic staff who have worked for us for years as well". He said that even if they retired, this wasn't a separation and that we would always be in close relations with our academicians.

Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan also expressed his gratitude to the academicians from Turkey whose terms of office have ended. He said, “Our cooperation in many fields, especially our unity of heart, will continue. We are very pleased to welcome you to our ancestral lands. You are Manas' ambassadors."

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Deputy Rector Dr. Baktygul Kalambekova said: “I would like to thank our academicians who have contributed to Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University with their scientific studies, education and successful students for many years. Manas University's door is always open to you.”

After the speeches, there were emotional moments during the slide show prepared by the Faculty of Communication for our retired academic staff. Rector and Deputy Rector invited academicians to the stage one by one and presented them with gifts. Our retired academic staff shared their joy with the audience for organizing this farewell loyalty program. They expressed their gratitude to the entire university community, especially Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, who started such a beautiful tradition.
