Turkish Course for the Kyrgyz Search and Rescue Team

"Turkish Language Course" was opened for the search and rescue team sent to the Turkey earthquake zone. The earthquake affected ten provinces on 6 February 2023. The team was sent to Turkey by the State Rescuers Training Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Upon the request of the State Rescuers Training Center, the Turkish Language Course was given by lecturers at the High School of Foreign Languages of KTMU. The five-week basic course started on July 3, 2023, and is held at the Training Center in Sadovoe village in the Chui region.

The Kyrgyz search and rescue team of 67 rushed to help citizens under the rubble during the Turkey earthquake disaster. Their brotherhood was demonstrated during difficult times. A total of 8 citizens were saved, and 197 people were pulled out of the rubble.
